That Man Is You

That Man is You! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. ABVM Family Night Out

Letter from Bishop Walkowiak

Dear Parishioners,

The images of damage and flooding from Hurricane Harvey continue to grab our attention compelling us to help our brothers and sisters in Texas whose lives have been turned upside down by this devastating storm. While we must continue to offer prayers for those affected, our financial support is desperately needed as well. Therefore, I am asking you to take up a special second collection in your parishes this weekend to assist in relief efforts.

Funds given to the collection will support the humanitarian and recovery efforts of Catholic Charities USA and will provide pastoral and rebuilding support to impacted dioceses through the USCCB.

After your Masses this weekend please send a check, per the normal special collection procedure, with a note on the memo line titled “Hurricane Harvey collection” addressed to:

Finance Office

360 Division Ave. S.

Grand Rapids, MI 49503

In addition, parishioners may donate through Catholic Charities USA. More information on how to donate to help relief efforts can be found on the diocesan webpage here:

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Bishop David Walkowiak

Summer Scrip Hours/Order Form

June & August

Sunday: 10:00-11:00am in the church narthex.

Monday: 8:30-9:15am in the Ministry Center.

You may also drop your order off in the rectory office and we will fill it on Mondays and return the filled order to the rectory for you to pick up anytime the rectory is open.

Scrip is closed during the month of July so we will not place any orders. However, I will be in the scrip office on Thursday (July 6, 13, and 20) from 10:30-11:30am to sell “cash and carry” scrip. Additionally, you may drop an order off in the rectory during July and I will fill it on Thursdays for your pickup in the rectory.

Have a great summer and let me know if you have any questions!

Colleen Hall or 616-205-5376.
