Grades 1\u20137 use the Christ Our Life<\/em> series to help children integrate their faith into daily life by learning God\u2019s Word and recognizing Jesus as the center of their lives.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program weaves together doctrine, Scripture, and Tradition, encouraging prayer and fostering a personal relationship with Christ. It supports families as essential partners in spiritual growth, offering tools to turn learned faith into lived faith. Children become fully catechized, gaining a strong understanding of the faith and a heart for service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each unit begins with Scripture and includes prayer at the start and end of each lesson, reinforcing God\u2019s presence. Lessons include individual and communal prayer, with family resources such as Building Family Faith<\/em>, Things to Do at Home<\/em>, Reach Out<\/em>, and Family Features<\/em> to support learning at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Graders can choose to attend Faith Formation classes on Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:00 PM. Through learning of the goodness of God, and the love of Jesus, the children respond to God in friendship and prayer. View the overview of the entire year\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Students need to be six-years-old by September 1st or in the First Grade at their regular school to enter. First Grade is a prerequisite for receiving the Sacraments in 2nd Grade.<\/p>\n

Second Grade classes are offered on Thursdays from 5:30-7:00 PM. \u00a0The preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion begins in First Grade and the Sacraments normally take place in the Second Grade. Weekly attendance in the First and Second Grade Faith Formation classes is part of the preparation process.<\/p>\n
