The preparation focuses on three key aspects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding Baptism (theological significance)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Celebrating Baptism (liturgical dimension)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Living Baptism (life-faith connection)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Baptism, the first Sacrament of Initiation, purifies us from sin, adopts us into God&#8217;s family, and leaves an indelible mark on our souls as His beloved children. It enables us to call God \u201cOur Father\u201d with conviction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expecting parents are encouraged to schedule their baby\u2019s baptism as soon as possible. For children of the age of reason or older, baptism is offered through the Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA) program. Baptismal sessions are held on the last Tuesday of the month 6:30-8:00 PM.
