Early Childhood

Early Childhood Faith Formation

We use the structured program Loyola’s Christ our Life for our Preschool and Kindergarten faith formation.  Students will be engaged in song, activities, prayer time and active learning in age appropriate ways. Through learning of the goodness of God, and the love of Jesus, the children respond to God in friendship and prayer.

Preschool

The preschool program uses the God Made Everything series, a comprehensive early childhood program designed to nurture and enrich the faith and spiritual lives of preschoolers. Each developmentally appropriate curriculum is carefully planned so that, at completion, the children are ready to continue their faith journey into the next level and beyond.

The God Made Everything series has been found to be in conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church by the Ad Hoc Committee to Oversee the Use of the Catechism. For more information click here.

God Made Everything preschool classes are hosted in the school on Sunday mornings from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Kindergarten

The kindergarten program uses the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. This program is open to all 4, 5 & 6-year-old children of the parish. Each child is an important person to you as parents and to God. Parenting is a ministry, a service to life. You, as a parent, have the dignity of being the “original and irreplaceable” person in your child’s religious journey. More information regarding this program can be found on the CGS website: Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd classes are offered in the Atriums in the Ministry Center Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.
